ABOUT
Dan has 10 years experience in pest plant and pest animal management. Previously working for a company that provided pest plant and animal management for clients such as Department of Conservation (DoC), Auckland Council, Northern Regional Council, Ministry of Primary Industries and other regional councils.
Dan has successfully managed and carried out projects including large scale rabbit shoots in public parks and properties. Coastal pest control protecting native birds,
large scale possum control operations involving trapping, and multiple poisoning methods and monitoring.
Dan has a wide range of chemical application experience. This includes knapsack spraying, hose and gun spraying and cut and paste methods. Dan has a vast knowledge of native plants and weed species, including control and revegetation.
His personality, knowledge and interpersonal skills allows him to develop excellent working relationships with everyone he works with including council management teams, farmers, and land owners.
Health and safety, quality and environmental management are key components of all work carried out.
